Following concerns about apparent speeding Gordon was asked to arrange for a speed check on Church Bank.

The speed check was carried out by Worcestershire County Council between 6th October and 13th October on Church Bank in Wolverley.

Analysis of the results shows that not a single vehicle exceeded the speed limit.

Taking the speed records for all vehicles it was found that 93% were travelling below

16 mph. Of the 7% with a higher speed all were driving below 21 mph.

The traffic peak in the morning is between 8am and 9am and in the afternoon it is between 4pm and 5pm.

“I am pleased to see that motorists are keeping well within the speed limit for Church Bank and that during the speed check period not a single vehicle exceeded 20 mph”, says Gordon.
