Once again the last weekend in July brings the Heavy Horses to Trimpley. This year the fine weather brought out a record number of visitors to this annual event.

“I always look forward to the Heavy Horse event. It is really worth supporting as it puts Trimpley on the map.

This year I came with my family and friends. and we all had a great day out”, says Gordon.

As well as watching these huge and beautiful beasts working the land, there were many other interesting things for children to see including foals and other farm animals.

There were also rides, stalls, eateries and side shows.
