Gordon has been working with the residents of Severn Bank Park to maintain the grit bins since the quarry was reinstated to agricultural land.
Residents have asked for access to Severn Bank Park to be kept open in winter weather so that carers can visit elederly residents living in Severn Bank Park.
Following negotiations with Wyre Forest District Council Gordon has obtained permission to use his District Allocation of Funding to keep the grit bins filled this coming winter.
Last year Gordon was able to provide grit and together with local businesses increased the number of bins.
“I am concerned that there are a number of elderly residents living on Severn Bank Park who require visits from carers. So its important that access is kept open during the winter months”, says Gordon.
