Update on Severn Trent Pumping Station

Work is expected to start soon on the Severn Trent pumping station for the aquifer link to Birmingham water.

Gordon has informed residents in Severn Bank Park that he expects that the planning application for the pumping station will be approved around the end of August and that work will begin at the end of the year.

As a condition for planning consent Severn Trent will be responsible for sweeping away mud from the link road and spraying the road in dry weather to reduce dust.
